Kitchen Restoration - Manchester, NH
What a “resto mod” is to vintage cars, is what Green and Wired accomplished with this amazing restoration. A monster of a chase, hiding a chimney and years of add on mechanicals, split the kitchen in two, and encroached on an upstairs bath. Demolishing that chase to open up the kitchen, meant a complete demolition and update of mechanicals including plumbing, HVAC and electrical systems. Heston Scheffey treated the project as a labor of love, incredibly using both recycled woodwork from the house and new material to construct an indiscernible blend of old and new throughout the home. Heston’s craftsmanship is felt in the use of load bearing beams and veneers, and his stunning arched transition from the butler’s pantry into a central vestibule.

Three Season Porch Dream Project
This past fall we met with Mark to see if he could build a 3 season room where a deck had previously stood (quite the task). We gave Mark a picture of a room we had seen online and had hoped to get something built that would look similar to it at a reasonable price. We had previously met with 2 other contractors, and all seemed to be around the same price to construct this project. When you meet with different people, you get a certain feeling when you are comfortable with someone, and Mark proved to be that person.
His team took a 30 year dream of ours and turned it into reality, they demonstrated knowledge, patience and professionalism, not to mention fun, during the construction of this room. All of the people that came to work on this room were professional, kind, clean and did everything in their power to make this the easiest building transition that we could hope for. There wasn’t a one in the bunch that we wouldn’t welcome into our home again including Rosie (the mascot) who stole our hearts. We would recommend the Green and Wired team for any project or dream you may have small or large. The room is now a reality, it’s more beautiful than what we had hoped for, and we are so excited and grateful.

I had Green and Wired do an energy audit on my home after meeting them at a home show. I can't emphasize enough how wonderful they've been to work with. From educating me about the audit process, explaining my options, and doing the audit itself to explaining the results/recommendations, they have been nothing patient and polite. Never once have I felt rushed or pressured and every single person I've spoken with has taken the time to answer my MANY questions.
When the guys came out to do the audit they were amazingly neat and clean and you would never even know they were here. They took the time to answer my questions and explain things to me as they went along and never made me feel like I was interrupting what they were doing or that "the clock was ticking" to get the job done.
When it came time to submit the application to NHSAVES, they even did that on my behalf after I gave them the necessary info. Everyone has been timely with returning calls, responding to e-mails, and getting back to me with additional info.
